Chairmans Message:

"Happy New Year to everyone, and firstly let me say a big thankyou to everyone who supported our "Pete Keegan" Day on Saturday 2nd Jan 2010.  Both matches were entertaining to say the least, with Riverdale winning both by close scorelines, 2-1 in the legends game and 3-2 V Armagh Rovers in the Pete Keegan Cup match to retain both cups.

Many thanks to The Bottle for the Food afterwards and to everyone who sponsored prizes and helped out on the day, especially Davey Berry, Referee from Portadown who travelled to expertly officiate both games.

The day raised £600 for the Newry Hospice a worthy cause.

This year the club are having a big push with fundraising to help improve our facilities and to recommence the junior section again for the season 2010-2011, throughout the year we will be holding monthly quizzes, starting Friday 29th January 2010 in The Bottle, and every month starting also in January we are holding a monthly lotto with great prizes, tickets costs £20 for the year or can be bought for £2 monthly.  In March 2010 the club will be hosting a "Murder Mystery Event" in Benburb Priory and this will be our main event for this season, so please show your support and book a table now as this will be a very popular event and will sell out quickly, more details on this event to follow in the coming weeks.
